They want your voice silenced.
In addition to already passing legislation in some states that labels eco-protestors - as terrorists - and places multiple felony charges on eco-protestors - so they can keep ALEC backed prisons full of prisoners -

and it again - would put more protestors in the ALEC corporate sector / private enterprise owned prisons - to provide essentially free labor to other ALEC corporate sector / private entrprise members.

- then ALEC claims it a success
- then ALEC turns it into "one size fits all states" ALEC "model legislation"
- so that other ALEC legislators can sell it in other states.
