Great editorial out of South Dakota this morning, where they are forcing Dems to be members of ALEC.

Short and sweet and usable in a copy/paste ALEC format by anyone.

Don't use my taxes to pay for dues

It may be that our South Dakota legislators want to belong to the corporate-funded American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC), and it may be that they want to travel to meetings to get new ideas for conservative pro-business legislation. They may even want to have their dues and travel expenses paid, but not with my tax dime.
