Bachmann's "Top" Aide Arrested for Theft

From Fox News

Javier Sanchez, a senior legislative assistant to Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.), has been arrested in connection with a string of thefts in the Rayburn House Office Building, Fox News has learned.

Police charged Javier Sanchez, 37, with Theft II.

“Earlier this year the United States Capitol Police was apprised of thefts that occurred in the Rayburn House Office Building,” spokesperson Shennell Antro told The Hill in a statement. “The USCP conducted an investigation and were able to identify a subject. The investigation resulted in the arrest of 37 year old Javier Sanchez of Virginia. The arrest took place on 7/11/2013. Sanchez has been charged with Theft II.”

Theft II misdeamnor is what they charge shoplifters.

If the total value of the property is less than $1000, it is a theft in the second degree.  The penalty for second degree theft is a maximum fine of $1,000 and imprisonment for no more than 180 days.  D.C. Criminal Code 22-3212.

(b) Theft in the second degree. -- Any person convicted of theft in the second degree shall be fined not more than $1,000 or imprisoned for not more than 180 days, or both, if the property obtained or used has some value.

No sweat - Bachmann can take that out of her presidential campaign funds.

Maybe she should "spank" him - like she wants to "spank the President

Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) dished out an oddly phrased and factually challenged takedown of President Barack Obama in a recent interview, claiming that Congress needed to give the president a "spanking" in order to stop him from using his "magic wand" to create a new generation of Democratic voters.
  SNIP
"I'm not crying wolf here," she said. "This is working for the president. It's not working for the American people, but, hey, it's great by him. He has a perpetual magic wand and nobody's given him a spanking yet and taken it out of his hand.
Unusual choice of words.

Wonder if she "spanked" her 23 foster kids?
23 foster kids - - $$$$
